BOOK 1 - "THE SURGE"
OLIVER SCRIPPS
Oliver Scripps is a comedian, real estate agent, and producer.
The Fate of Isen is Oliver's first experience with tabletop role-playing games. Oliver plays Banffor Watt, a human barbarian who is a very troubled soul. After childhood abandonment, and years of imprisonment and torture, he stumbles through life searching for his next high or perhaps for a higher purpose. He also plays Jeff the mouse in The Gigantic Adventures of Jeff and Simon. |
JULZ BURGISSER
Julz Burgisser leads three very different lives; she's a comedian, a rock'n'roll singer, and a complete RPG/cosplay nerd.
Julz plays Marley Kraff a half-elf saxophone-playing multiclass bard/ranger. Her family was semi-famous for their ‘Kraff Cider’ until their presumed death years ago. Ever-searching for fame and fortune and occasionally remembering to look for possible sightings of her brothers, she travels the world letting nothing get in her way. She also plays Simon the pigeon in The Gigantic Adventures of Jeff and Simon. |
JOSH KINGSFORD
Josh Kingsford is an award-winning comedian, and a first-time tabletop role-player.
Josh plays a gnome rogue named Trestlespoon Dur who has searched almost two centuries for his missing kin. He grows bored when sitting around in one place for too long, and yearns for adventure. He's an adventurous little soul and is always up for whatever shenanigans present themselves. |
JULES DANIEL
Jules Daniel (JD) has been playing Dungeons and Dragons since they were 10, and has been actively roleplaying a functional human being for most of their life - even done badly, it still counts!
Wellington comedian, nerd, sometimes dragster, and a friendly weirdo; Jules promises they "Are not a horde of bee's pretending to be a people." Jules plays a cloud demon called Arcus. Arcus was just living their life in one of the many elemental sub-realms before they were forcibly dragged to Isen by the soul of the undead wolf, Hodge. |
BRAD ZIMMERMAN
Brad Zimmerman used to be a comedian and a writer but he stopped doing those because he'd rather be playing/planning/thinking about tabletop roleplaying games.
He currently runs multiple games set in Isen with their own storylines that are all happening in the same time period. Fate of Isen and The Gigantic Adventures of Jeff and Simon follow two of those storylines, but are directly affected by events of the others. |
